A complete walkthrough of the @apostille handle — Hague-convention legalization for cross-border documents.

Apostille timeline
Step 1 · Publish the handle

Run /publish_handle bp-not-apostille. The bot confirms:

Handle @apostille published on your bot.
Public URL: https://biznode.1bz.biz/h/apostille
Cost: 8 DZIT per invocation.
Step 2 · Client submission
Bot: Upload the document to apostille.
User: [uploads degree.pdf]
Bot: Destination country?
User: Germany
Bot: Document category? (Educational / Personal / Commercial / Legal)
User: Educational
Bot: That's 8 DZIT. Confirm? [Pay] [Cancel]
Step 3 · Pre-check against the Hague list

The bot automatically checks whether the destination country is party to the Hague Apostille Convention. If not, it offers the legalization-chain alternative (notarize → MEA attestation → embassy legalization).

Step 4 · Authority processing

You submit the document to the competent authority in your jurisdiction (e.g. MEA Branch Secretariat in India, Secretary of State in the US, FCDO in the UK). You collect the apostilled original.

Step 5 · Deliver

Close the ticket with /deliver. The bot pushes the apostilled scan to the client and arranges courier for the physical original if requested (extra shipping is billed separately in DZIT).
